This is a referral website
The owners of demolitioncontractorperth.com.au redirect all enquiries to third-party professionals. We do not directly provide demolition, asbestos removal, excavation, rubbish removal, property maintenance or related services.
When you submit an enquiry or call the number on this site, your details are passed to an independent contractor who may be able to carry out the work. Any agreement to perform work is made directly between you and that contractor.
We do not verify contractors
We do not inspect or verify the licensing, certification, insurance or competence of the contractors we refer enquiries to. We expect contractors to represent their licences, qualifications, insurance and experience accurately, but we do not audit those claims.
Before any work starts, and particularly before any demolition or asbestos work, you should ask the contractor for and check:
- their business name, ABN and contact details;
- their public liability insurance and workers compensation cover;
- the relevant licences and registrations for the work, including the asbestos removal licence class where asbestos is involved; and
- references from comparable work.
Verify licences with the relevant Western Australian authority, not only with the contractor. Asbestos removal licensing in WA is administered by WorkSafe WA, and building and demolition permits are issued by your local government.
We do not hold an asbestos removal licence and we do not carry out licensed removal work. Where a page on this site describes licensed work, it describes what the law requires and what a properly licensed contractor does — not a service we perform.
Information on this website is general only
The content on this website, including price ranges, timeframes, permit descriptions and process explanations such as those in the demolition cost guide, is general information published for guidance. It is not professional, engineering, legal or safety advice, and it does not take account of the particular conditions of your site.
We try to keep information accurate and current, but errors and omissions are possible, regulations change, and requirements differ between local governments. Neither we nor the contractors we refer to can guarantee that all published information is accurate and complete. Verify anything you intend to rely on with your local council, the relevant authority, or a suitably qualified professional.
We are not liable for any faults in, or misinterpretation of, the information provided here.
Disputes between you and a contractor
Any agreement for work arranged through this website is between the contractor and the customer. We are not a party to that agreement and we will not be involved in disputes or disagreements arising from it.
Disputes should be resolved between the contractor, the customer and any professional advisers involved. We are not responsible for any damages, losses, delays, defects or disagreements arising from the use of this website to connect contractors with customers.
Safety
Demolition and asbestos work are hazardous. Nothing on this website should be read as encouragement to undertake demolition, asbestos disturbance or structural work yourself. Seek professional advice, and engage appropriately licensed people, before any work begins.
Limitation of liability
